Session
Learn to be fluid as you transition
from one stroke to another. Being able to blend strokes
promotes grace and efficiency. Blending strokes gives you
more efficiency and increases your boat control in challenging
conditions.
Boat Control Session
Start working with your kayak instead
of against it. Learn how edging and body contact make maneuvering
your kayak easier and more efficient.
Self and Assisted
Rescues Session
Includes Wet Exit and several
techniques on how to get yourself back in a kayak from water
and assisting others back into their kayaks.

Surf Zone Session
Safely maneuvering your kayak in and
out of the surf zone. A necessary skill for expedition coastal
kayaking.
Swift Current Session
We will paddle in a unique local area where current speed can reach 4k on a spring ebb. We will practice eddy turns, peel outs and rescues. Be prepared for a work-out. This is also great practice for ocean rough water paddling.
Rough Water Session
Learn skills necessary to paddle safely
in rough water (strong winds, breaking waves and/or current.)
